Philippines in UNcylcopedia.

I wonder who wrote this f*cked up article. Really.

Please read this. I can’t cite statements since the whole write up is actually very offensive.

I am not one to speak of patriotism. But this one has crossed the line. I don’t know if the one who wrote this was just trying to be funny, or he’s actually holding a great deal of grudge on Filipinos.

Some of these might somehow be are true, but please, spare the decent ones some dignity. Do away with the exaggeration and most especially the cussing; not all of us are gold diggers.

Often clever, sometimes random and every now and then, a little offensive (albeit adorably so), the Little Losers are a nod to the ambiguity of your personality. Todd Goldman, whose inspiration came after he jokingly called a friend Mr. Douchebag, is now presenting an entire line featuring the little rebels in a series of shirts. The brilliantly satirical horde from David and Goliath features the mister and miss of tart-tongued graphic misfits where characters like the fishnet clad ‘Miss Floozy’ is squared off by an afro-sporting ‘Mr. Pimp;’ a scowling ‘Miss Bitch’ is being flipped-off by a grinning ‘Mr. Asshole;’ and where the unassuming ‘Miss Gold Digger’ can battle wits with a ‘Mr. Tight Wad’

The recent media launch held at Mag:net High Street yesterday (David and Goliath: Little Losers Blogger’s Event) underscored the comical imagery of each definitive character stereotype through fun and games as the popular Gabe Mercado together with SPIT (Silly People Improv Theater) hosted an evening that stayed true to the humorous genius that David and Goliath is known for.

So whether you’re wearing it as a fashion statement or for sheer fun, expect this new breed of losers to lend itself with such brutal honesty that it can’t help but be funny in the spirit of effortless irony.

David and Goliath stores are located at Bonifacio High Street, Power Plant Mall, TriNoma, Robinsons Place Manila Midtown, Greenbelt 5 and Rustan’s Makati.

PS. This write up was the one in the brochure. It says it all. So I took the liberty to post it.

My brother and I are the LOSERS of all LOSERS for coming in UNfashionably late for this party. I regret it, really. Missed out on some fun parts.

Thanks to David and Goliath for the freebies, the P1000 GC, and all the fun and games. It was definitely worth the hassle of commuting to High Street! They sure know how to make losers feel special. Haha

Going loco in the photoloco booth.

This is off topic. I want this Tee Design from David and Goliath.

After two astonishing days of food tripping, I felt as if I have devoured so much in my whole life that I was in no position to ever eat again. Lucky for me, before I could even torture myself into strict diet, Kuya Jhez had us signed up for another food trip.

Manila has so much to offer when it comes to great food, restaurants, bistros and cafes. And no one does it better than Ayala Malls. So when I learned that Greenbelt was the hotspot, I said yes without batting an eyelash.

  • On Ruby Tuesday

Ruby Tuesday is a casual dining restaurant named after the Rolling Stones’ song of the same name. I find nothing significant to connect with the band, therefore, the only conclusion I can make is that it dishes up American fare. I found the interior somehow heavy and hostile. But they had the most intricate salad bar. The freshest ingredients are presented before your very eyes; all you have to do is pitch them up into your bowl.

  • You may have noticed Recipes by Café Metro one too many times and wondered what it cooked. Haha. Its minimal interior plays barely with the shades of white, gray and beige. The rationale behind this is that dynamic colors and flavors should only come from its food, which is basically the heart of the restaurant.
