Behind the DotCom

Cecile Maris Espinosa Gozalo is an 18 year-old college sophomore at the University of the Philippines - Diliman taking up BS Industrial Engineering. She resides in Quezon City, Philippines for the time being and hopes that she could find a place to stay in for good some time in the future.

Her mother is a Kampampangan and her father is an Ilokano, both tracing their origins in Luzon. But surprisingly, they have put down their roots in General Santos City. She has two younger brothers, Conrad Miguel/Mikko (16) and Cyr Martin/Martin (11).

Cecile can be very bubbly if mixed in with the right crowd. Most of the time, she is loud and ecstatic. Sometimes, she can transform to being totally expansive and tactless.

She considers herself a jack of all trades, but a master of none. She indulges herself in almost everything but never out stands in any one of them. She loves art, music and math. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places. She abhors being idle. This implies that she is, somehow, an impatient person.

At the young age of 12, she decided to separate herself from her family. She attended high school at Philippine Science High School - Southern Mindanao Campus in Davao. For four years, she was ‘detained’ in a dormitory inside the campus, transferring rooms year after year.

Cecile has been into blogging since June 2003. She was able maintain three personal blogs for the last four years. And now, she starts a new blog to mark the first great legal milestone in her life.
