I sometimes feel that my intuition is being tested by the Internet. When I stumbled upon this very odd page, I had to pause for a second. (I may sound very reactive by now.) Hm. It’s not that strapless slippers are impossible, but how long will it last? Is it reusable or just one of those disposable crap that breaks off when I’m using it? I am a flipflop person, that’s why things like this matter to me. :D

strapless slippers

Sticky Sandals is a Philippine-made footwear that proves to be exceptionally comfortable. It sticks firmly to your feet with no straps or top fixings of any kind. Just very comfortable sticky soles that stay stuck until you are ready to remove them, leaving no residue on your feet. Say goodbye to blisters and suntan lines.

They should pay me for advertising this. Haha. Currently, it can be bought online thru sulit.com.ph. Prices range from P 400 to P 500. It can be reused if you attend to the instructions very carefully. Make sure your feet are clean and dry. Oil accumulating on your skin keep the topless sandal from sticking. Also, make sure that the strapless sandal is clean. The adhesive is activated when the sandals are washed then dried. It is trendy and eye-catching (perhaps if you have lovely feet). But in my case, I guess I’ll have to pass. I don’t have pretty feet and I have a very busy walking life. Haha. Sorry Sticky Sandals, I’ll have to stick with Havaianas for now.
